A stress relief moment

I was driving home on the highway this morning after working out. My brow was furrowed. I was mentally juggling deadlines, new projects, and cashflow decisions.

Only a few extra hours in each day would fix everything if I gave up sleeping. Ugh.

Then I noticed the dog in the backseat of the truck in front of me. He had these big long fuzzy ears. They jiggled. He wiggled. I smiled, all the way to crinkling my eyes. I laughed out loud as the dog peered through each window, making sure he missed nothing of this delicious life.

Life is supposed to be fun, so take a minute now and find a giggle. A good one. A silly video. Your favourite picture. The flowers outside your window. Then make a decision about whatever is stressing you and move forward. No need to crinkle your brow and ruin your mood.

I’m off in search of the two sets of long silly curly black ears that live at my house. They need to go outside, and I need another good laugh.

Where will you look for moments of joy today?

These are some great words of advice, thanks for sharing them. We quite often forget to slow down and take a minute to reflect on the great things in our lives, we can be a bit too serious sometimes!
